Tyrese has returned along with his new single “Don’t Suppose You Ever Liked Me,” which options Lenny Kravitz and Le’Andria Johnson.
On the downcast ballad, a brokenhearted Tyrese displays on a previous relationship and wonders if his ex ever liked him within the first place since she was fast to depart when issues obtained rocky.
Tyrese sings within the gut-wrenching refrain: “When issues obtained tough, you selected to run / I don’t suppose you ever liked me / Not such as you mentioned you probably did / Wasted my time / You wouldn’t strive / I don’t suppose you ever liked me / And that’s why you stop.”
“Don’t Suppose You Ever Liked Me” was produced by Brandon “B.A.M.” Hodge and written by Tyrese, Eric Dawkins, Davion Farris and Asalena Elliott.
The soul-stirring tune will seem on Tyrese’s forthcoming album, Lovely Ache.
