The prolific, eccentric art-pop favorites Sparks will quickly launch The Woman Is Crying In Her Latte, their twenty sixth album and first since turning into the topic of an Edgar Wright documentary. They’ve so far shared the title monitor (with a video starring Cate Blanchett) and “Veronica Lake.” Right this moment it’s the totally peppy fact bomb “Nothing Is As Good As They Say It Is,” which sounds form of like A.C. Newman making an attempt to jot down a Buzzcocks track. This track is the exception that proves the rule! In keeping with a press launch, it’s written from the attitude of “a 22-hour-old child petitioning to be readmitted to the womb,” which is hilarious. Watch the track’s music video beneath.
The Woman Is Crying In Her Latte is out 5/26 on Island.
