The countdown is on for Greta Gerwig’s extremely (extremely) anticipated Barbie film, which comes out July 21 and has a star-studded soundtrack with contributions from Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice, Haim, Tame Impala, Charli XCX, Lizzo, Dua Lipa, PinkPantheress, and lots of extra. We’ve already heard Dua Lipa’s “Dance The Evening,” which was featured within the film’s second trailer, and at present we get to listen to PinkPantheress’ Barbie monitor: “Angel.” It’s bubbly, fantastical, and has a humorous, fiddly hoedown pattern. How very Western Enjoyable Barbie.
