The track, “Oh Sheila”, was initially recorded by Prepared For The World in 1984
Melvin Riley Jr., Gordon Strozier and Gerald Valentine of the American 6-piece vocal group Prepared For The World wrote the track “Oh Sheila” for his or her self-titled debut album. It was launched because the third single within the Summer time of 1985 and topped the US singles chart in addition to the R&B chart and the Dance chart. Internationally, the track was a primary in Canada and a prime twenty hit in Australia, though it solely made No.50 within the UK.
In 1999, Dutch producers Hugo Zentveld and Aldwin Oomen – calling themselves Angel Metropolis – recorded a Dance model of the monitor and retitled it “Love Me Proper (Oh Sheila)” together with singer Lara McAllen.
