Along with her forthcoming third album Water Made Us, out October 13, Jamila Woods follows up “Tiny Backyard” and “Boomerang” with the third focus observe “Good Information.”
“The title of the album comes from one of many lyrics, ‘the excellent news is we have been glad as soon as / the excellent news is water all the time runs again the place it got here from / the excellent news is water made us’,” Jamila explains. “For me the track is a lesson in give up, a lesson I study from water again and again.”
