Erica Campbell, one half of the gospel duo Mary Mary, has launched a brand new single titled “Optimistic.” The uplifting anthem was produced by Warryn Campbell who additionally co-wrote the tune with Campbell and Juan Winans.
Like a ray of sunshine, “Optimistic” is certain to brighten anybody’s day with its breezy manufacturing and optimistic lyrics. “Feeling positive / Feeling clear / Feeling optimistic,” Campbell sings.
Talking on her new single, Campbell defined, “Phrases have energy. Optimistic is an efficient phrase despite the fact that it’s now related to one thing else attributable to COVID. I simply needed to take that phrase again and provides it the ability it deserves. Being optimistic, considering optimistic, understanding that God is sovereign and in management. “Optimistic” is the lead single from Campbell’s upcoming third studio album, which is slated to launch Sept. 23 through My Block Inc./SRG-ILS Group.
The album will comply with Campbell’s 2015 LP, Assist 2.0, which included her hit single “I Luh God” that includes Large Shizz (LaShawn Daniels). The tune peaked at No. 1 on Billboard’s Sizzling Gospel Songs chart.
On Easter Sunday (April 17), Campbell’s episode of Uncensored will premiere on TV One at 10 p.m. EST. Viewers will get a first-hand account of Campbell’s success and the obstacles she has confronted all through her profession.
