Dave Hollister has unveiled the dates for his 2023 spring tour.
The R&B veteran will start his trek on Might 4 in Chicago, Illinois. From there, he’ll carry out in St. Louis, Houston and Atlanta, amongst different areas.
The eight-city tour wraps up June 24 in Boston, Massachusettes.
It’s been almost seven years since Hollister final launched an album. The previous Blackstreet member launched The MANuscript in August 2016.
The album, which featured an look from Angie Stone, included the lead single “Definition of a Girl.”
Relating to the music, Hollister shared: “Love feels so good. These of us males who’ve been lucky sufficient to expertise real love wrapped in romance can attest to the truth that there’s nothing else prefer it. It’s a really particular feeling to have the love of a lady.”
Actress LisaRaye starred within the official video for the music, directed by Nicole Blue. “LisaRaye introduced a heat and a lightweight to this video that solely she may, and it was straightforward working with my homie versus a stranger, so…straightforward day for me,” Hollister famous.
In the summertime of 2021, Hollister introduced his supergroup with fellow R&B all-stars Carl Thomas and Donell Jones referred to as The Chi, a nod to their hometown Chicago, Illinois.
Hollister wrote in an Instagram submit: “New R&B Group’ The Chi’ @donelljonesforever @carlthomasnow @davehollister ….the music…the voices lastly coming collectively to offer your ears and hearts what you’ve been ready for…we began speaking about this in 2009 and now the time has lastly come….Brothas I depend it an honor and privilege to Rep residence with you each! LETS GO!”
In August 2021, Jones launched his “Karma (Remix)” that includes Hollister, Thomas, RL and Jacquees. The Chi has but to launch official music presently.
Final September, Hollister posted a photograph on Instagram of him in a recording sales space. He wrote: “⅓ of ‘The Chi’ recording my vocals on our mission whereas my brothers are on the street then I hit it within the morning! @donelljonesforever & @carlthomasnow I can’t wait until y’all smack this file!!!”
