Brent Faiyaz has achieved eight new awards from the Recording Business Affiliation of America (RIAA).
His second album, Wasteland, is now licensed platinum for promoting a million equal models. It marks Faiyaz’s first platinum-selling album thus far. It was first licensed gold in November 2020 after tallying 500,000 equal models.
Faiyaz’s Drake-assisted single “Losing Time,” produced by The Neptunes, can also be now platinum licensed. The tune was topped gold in December of final yr. In August 2021, Faiyaz scored his first prime 10 hit at city radio with “Losing Time,” coming into at No. 8.

Faiyaz is ready to play at ONE Musicfest on Sunday, Oct. 29, at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, Georgia. Rap star Kendrick Lamar will headline that evening, with further performances by The-Dream, Coco Jones, El DeBarge, Durand Bernarr, Tems and extra. Music icon Janet Jackson will headline evening one on Saturday, Oct. 28.
Earlier than his ONE Musicfest gig, Faiyaz will launch the U.Okay./European leg of his F*ck The World, It’s a Wasteland Tour on Oct. 16 in Leeds, U.Okay. He’ll play 4 different exhibits earlier than returning to the U.S. for ONE Musicfest.
